This is the beautiful autumn wedding of Sandra and Ade which took place at The Conservatory at Painshill in Cobham, Surrey and I was absolutely thrilled to be their wedding photographer.
The conservatory at Painshill is a fantastic wedding venue and having the opportunity to photograph amazing couples like Sandra and Ade is what makes my job so worthwhile.
I always start the day by photographing the bride getting ready. Sandra began her bridal preparations at Brooklands Hotel and Spa. The bridesmaids were also present and within a very relaxed atmosphere I photographed everyone having their hair and makeup applied and getting prepared for the big day ahead.
The groom was a few doors away so I made sure to capture moments of him and the best man getting ready and putting the final touches to everything before leaving for the wedding ceremony.
After finishing all the preparations, Sandra was driven to the ceremony venue in an elegant classic Rolls Royce . It was a very touching moment to witness as the bride was walked down the aisle by her dad to where Ade was waiting for her and I’m sure a great honour for friends and family to be a part of Sandra and Ade's big day at The Conservatory at Painshill.
Needless to say, everyone had a great time at the wedding ceremony. All the guests were cheerful and you could feel the joyful atmosphere at the reception. I walked around photographing the guests as they relaxed and talked. The sun came out for the day, which can make a big difference at any wedding, and all the guests were able to enjoy the grounds.
After the wedding guests had enjoyed their delicious meals, the speakers prepared to deliver their speeches. You learn a lot about the wedding party during the speeches as jokes and anecdotes go back and forth.
The evening began and the DJ definitely pulled it off, the wedding floor got crowded while the newlyweds showed off their best moves with the entire bridal party joining in the fun.
