It was amazing photographing Tolu and David’s destination wedding in Malta and I was determined to capture the story of their wedding day, including the emotions and all unique details as they unfolded
This wedding was going to be about family and friends. It was going to be about the couple having the most incredible wedding day imaginable and they could not have picked a better location for it.
Tolu, David, the bridesmaid and groomsmen all got ready at AX The Palace, Sliema, Malta. A beautiful hotel with the rooms having a breathtaking view of the city.
Whilst the bride and bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done, the groom and groomsmen, in the adjacent room were going through the morning preparation as well. What made it such an enjoyable bridal preparation/ groom prep was the fun aspect and where there's fun there always a relaxed atmosphere which makes for great photography moments.
The bride and groom took their wedding vows at St Paul’s Cathedral, Mdina, Malta. An incredibly beautiful church and the perfect place for the couple to get married in.
The bride arrived in a vintage Rolls Royce and she was walked down the aisle by her father to where the groom was waiting as a six-piece orchestra played a beautiful symphony.
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed a fantastic wedding reception at Bacchus Banquet Hall, Mdina. There was an assortment of drinks for guests to choose from as well as a sumptuous menu for the dinner to follow.
Soon it was time for the wedding reception to really go into high gear as the dance floor was declared open and the DJ played songs that had the newlyweds and their guests dancing and enjoying themselves to the early hours.
