I loved photographing Nyasha and Martin’s wedding recently. The wedding took place at the Belfry Hotel and Resort in Birmingham, West Midlands.This was my first experience capturing a wedding at this venue and one I really enjoyed. I look forward to more wedding photography there.
All wedding stories begin with a bridal prep and Nyasha’s story starts at the Holiday Inn, Birmingham City Centre. I shot every detail of the developing story as the bridal party were doing their hair and makeup. The air at the Holiday Inn was filled with excitement as Martin prepared himself for the day along with his groomsmen.
Finally, Nyasha and Martin were ready. Nyasha arrived at the venue in a Vintage Rolls Royce. The bride walked down the aisle in the arms of her father. It was an honour for friends and family to witness Nyasha and Martin’s big day at SDA church, Birmingham.
This was an awesome Autumn wedding and we made sure we got some lovely portraits of the newly weds at the venue. The sun came out for the day which made the guests happy and helped make nice bold colourful photographs.
The reception afterwards was very warm, colourful and welcoming. Everyone was in a celebratory mood and having fun and I’m sure all these memories will last a lifetime, that is why each wedding has its own story to tell. All the guests sat down to listen to the speeches as the evening meal was being served and afterwards the evening well and truly kicked off as the DJ rocked the dance floor and the guests had an absolute ball.
Nyasha and Martin created not only the perfect day, but an astonishing one too.
